For a transvaginal ultrasound guided embryo transfer to the endometrium by piercing the myometrium with a needle and embryo transfer catheter.

The Towako® Method was developed by Dr. Osamu Kato from the Kato Ladies Clinic in Japan.

It allows embryo transfer bypassing the cervical canal
in cases where transcervical ET is particulary difficult to be performed.

  • Technique indicated for cases where transcervical embryo transfer cannot be performed
  • The only method that allows embryo transfer via myometrium piercing
  • Offers an alternative solution for women with anatomical and pathological cervical disorders
